OUR MISSION
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord!
Mark 16:15 Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature!
It is the Mission of Harvest Time Hernando Church to carry out the words of Jesus as spoken in Luke 4:18-19

My family relationships became very strained and I left home at 16. Drugs and alcohol became my way of life. I became an alcoholic and drug addict which brought on severe depression. I ended up homeless on two different occasions for months at a time. At 28 years old I was institutionalized and the doctors said I was bi-polar and manic depressive, this made me prone to have psychotic episodes. I received Christ as my savior in the hospital and God healed my mind and my heart!
I have been serving the Lord for over 25 years and was totally set free by the power of God! I am living proof that there is hope in Jesus! My personal goal is to help those who are lost find him.
Pastor Chris: A Story of Redemption and God's Love
I grew up in a small town in Maine, our family professed to be Catholics but never practiced the faith. I lacked nothing material, but I had no real direction. I was a quiet, shy type of person who always tried to fit in. As a teenager, I started drinking alcohol and smoking pot.
